Deadlands Zombies Part 2

This is the second illustration I did for the Deadlands RPG for Pinnacle Entertainment, this one was smaller than the one I posted before.

I took an approach with a little more action since the one before was very still, I drew inspiration from games such as Resident Evil for the composition.

In the end I had to fix the zombies a lot, the I wasn't really happy with thefigures in the sketch, the buildings are also different.

I flipped the image for some reason too, I'm really happy with the textures and atmospheric perspective in this one.

Deadlands Zombies Part 1

This year I got to work for Pinnacle Entertainment on their RPG "Deadlands", it was a lot of fun because I love Cowboys and Undead creatures, and that's precisely what they wanted me to do.

This was the sketch I did, I always end up fixing a lot of things in the final specially the faces.

The composition is basically the same though, working with a lot of thumbnails helps a lot that way.

A weekend with R.K. Post - Part 2

Just before leaving, R.K. made me a little demonstration of how he worked, it was very interesting, how he grouped layers and everything was organized, he also made a good use of the smudge too in Photoshop.

I don't work in Photoshop that much, but I think I can transfer some of the tecniques to ArtRage, and it was certainly different from my usual "1 layer just paint on top of the damn thing" approach.

A weekend with R.K. Post - Part 1

It's very rare to have the opportunity to hang out with a great artist like R.K. Post here in Chile, so it was a great opportunity to have a good time and poke his brain.

We went to different places in Chile, the house of Pablo Neruda, the Museum of Pre Colombus Art, Hidalgo Castle (not much of a Castle now I'm afraid), etc.

He also made some nice drawings for me and the team at Devir

Clockworker

It's been some time since my last work for Headless Hydra Games, I really enjoy working on these covers, it was quite a challenge to design a construct, and I think it ended up nicely.

I think I'll draw a girl soon, I don't have a lady on my gallery now.
